I don't actually think CCP creating there own apps or other things is the best idea. The players are pretty good at it themselves. Plus, once developers start making applications like EVEMon, it tends to kill off development of the player-made one...

Yeah, I'm not sure why easy changes to the Dramiel can't be done much faster. It's really just some variable tweaking. Make the changes, test around in-house for a day or two then toss that sucker out on the live server. I mean, it's a single ship...
